Choose Your Hotel - My Experience With The Extended Stay America

Do you have some plans for the vacation? Or just a short trip? How about the hotel or motel? Let's talk about our temporary "living" place. I have traveled a lot and I want to share my experience on how to feel like at the home in the hotel. So first I am trying to choose the hotel with the guests in their mind. To be greeted by a smiling staff, to find clean room and hair dryer, not to be checked-out at 10 am, not to have smoking neighbors by your room ( I am usually staying in non-smoking room ). First hotel- "Extended stay hotel". Guest check-out at 11 a.m.,if you need to check out later, tell the front desk. In some hotels you can't find the hair dryer, so you have to ask at the Desk .It's a good idea to ask for the shampoo or conditioner, because you can't find them in the room either.

These are the main reasons that I could recommend this hotel:

fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator

stove top

microwave & toaster

coffee maker

Coffee makercomes with a bag of coffee or tea, sugar, creamer, utensils, dishes and cutlery. You can have a high-speed Internet with a well-lighted workplace, television with a remote control and you can select premium cable channels. All rooms feature irons and ironing boards. Guests may make copies of documents and send or receive faxes at the Front Desk. Complimentary services per stay includes incoming taxes, up to 20 single-page copies. You won't pay for the first five pages, then -5 cents per page. All locations have snacks and beverages available for purchase in the vending area. For Your convenience, a coin-operated Guest Laundry is available, you must have 25cents to operate a washer and dryer. Washers run on a 30-minute cycle, dryers run for 60 minutes. Detergent is available in the vending machine. If you have a cat or a dog - you must register your pet, pay $25 non-refundable cleaning fee. Don't bring a large dog, because the hotel has some size and weight restrictions. Always have a leash when walking your pet on the hotel property and remove them from the room during the housekeeping hours.

These are my negative impressions about the Extended Stay Hotel:

You need to contact the Front Desk to get your shampoo, conditioner, etc. during the standard office hours. You always will find iron, but not a hair dryer and additional amenities. Smoking rooms are located next to the non-smoking rooms, so you are the second-hand smoker, because some guests are smoking next door to you. That is the biggest problem in all hotels. In some cases you can't cancel your reservations.

There are nearly 700 hotels of this brand nationwide and in Canada. Looking for the temporary housing or business trip, you can find these hotels from the family of Extended Stay Hotels: Extended Stay Deluxe, Extended Stay America,Homestead Studio Suites, Crossland Economy Studios and Studio Plus Deluxe Studios. I have lived in the Extended stay America hotel with a fully equipped kitchen and also at the Homestead studio suites with a spacious room for the work and relaxation. Over all I got great comfort at a great price at Extended Stay hotels.
