How anti-matter is produced by thunderstorms ?

The study of the world is one that encompasses many researchers and scientists time throughout the world. A recent discovery of how anti-matter is produced by thunderstorms is just one way in which people are fascinated with the world. And this anti-matter is very visible to those spacecrafts that are hundreds and thousands of miles away. This occurs when lightening strikes. The reason that scientists were able to discover this was through a thunderstorm that was happening over Namibia, in which scientists reported that the telescope saw from 3000 miles away.

Most people wonder exactly what is anti-matter? This is the exact opposite of what is contained in normal matter, which means the exact opposite of electrons and protons charges. The electrons and protons spin and have matter just as they do in normal matter, but the opposite charge is what makes anti-matter what it is. Scientists are stating that this discovery shows that any planet that has a thunderstorm could be launching this anti-matter into space, and it is a truly interesting subject that is going to be gaining more and more attention.

According to those that worked on this finding, they discovered that the lightening was producing around 100 trillion positrons. The emitting of the positrons is not something that is surprising, it was the amount of these positrons that surprised scientists. They concluded that because of the amount of positrons that were in this lightening, that the Earth was actually experiencing more radiation than what the Earth experiences from all other ways in which positrons are created.

However, one question that the scientists are wondering is why each thunderstorm does not produce this anti-matter. It is something that they are unable to explain, and one thing that is keeping many people curious as to what the answer could be. The public after hearing this information are wondering now, if traveling by air in a thunderstorm could be even more dangerous than what it already is? After all, everyone knows that the wind and the lightening could affect the plane, however, now people are considering what would happen if the plane were hit with the anti-matter?

Scientists are confident that if an object were to be hit by this anti-matter that there would be no real damage. After all, the anti-matter did hit the space shuttle when the thunderstorm over Namibia occurred and no damage was reported. This finding has opened up a whole new study of the Earth and one that many are eager to join in on. However, it makes the Earth even more of a huge question as this was never thought to occur. Scientists have for hundred of years tried to make sense of how lightening works, and have never had the answers. This finding is the first step in being able to explain just how lightening works and what makes it lightening.
