Tiger Woods Called off His Original Plan to Japan

After the 9.0 magnitude earthquake struck Japan, Tiger Woods decided to call off his journey to Japan. But his journey to China and South Korea during the middle April is still scheduled.

Woods' journey to Asia is sponsored by Nike. The journey is named as "make it matter", aiming at promoting golf sport among the young Asians. Tiger Woods will start his journey soon after American Masters Tournament. The first destination will be China and then South Korea. His original plan contains Japan as the last destination. But in March 11, the strongest earthquake ever happened in the Japanese history struck the northeastern Japanese sea. A tsunami came after the earthquake caused 21 thousand people dead or missing. What's worse, a nuclear power plant was damaged during the earthquake. The plant is only 250 kilometers away from Tokyo. How much damage will the nuclear pollution affect Japan remains to be seen. Many foreign firms and embassies in Tokyo have already shifted to Osaka, a city 400 km away from Tokyo.

According to the South Korea's report, Tiger Woods will stay in China for Two days- he will go to Shenzheng, a southern city and Beijing, the country's capital on April 12 and April 13 respectively. He will go to South Korea on April 14 and visit Cyingee city. His activities will be held at Jade Palace Golf Club. It will be Woods' first time to visit South Korea since his last visit to South Korea in 2004, when he joined a charity "hole by hole" match in Jeju. The Chinese and Koreans are looking forward to seeing his visit.

As to the activities in China, Nike hasn't held a press conference yet and hasn't announced any news report about the details neither. But some insiders said that the event will be held at Guanlan Lake, Shenzheng. And the host place in Beijing is still unknown.

At last I will be happy to recommend a golf driver to you if you are interested. Click here: burner superfast. It is one of the Woods' fovourites.
