Online Public K 12 Schools

Online public K-12 schools are thriving, bringing the benefits of both worlds: the community found by attending a traditional public school; and the personal instruction gained from homeschooling. The ability to go to anonline kindergarten classroom to learn is a revolutionary concept that provides quality early education to even the youngest students.

These students are taught by a certified teacher assigned to them and are required to follow the same daily guidelines any public school would demand: attendance, assignments, tests, and meetings. Teachers interact with their students via e-mail, telephone, and online web meetings. Teachers and parents also share a close relationship in the virtual classroom in order to better instruct the student.

The pace of the student's learning is largely determined by their performance, although students participating in distance learning are still required to pass the same state requirements as students attending public campus schools. This equates to the same valuable instruction with more flexibility and personal tailoring to every student. It is also considered the most favorable option for families that are constantly on the move.the pace of the student's learning is largely determined by their performance, although students participating in distance learning are still required to pass the same state requirements as students attending public campus schools.
