Studying can get very monotonous with time. So make sure you take sufficient short breaks while studying. During your breaks do something that will relax your mind, but not distract you. You can listen to some soft music, take a short nap or get something to eat. Memorizing is one of the most important part of studying. However sometimes it is just so hard to memorize something, and then later to remember it becomes even tougher. One of best ways to remember something really easily is, by using flashcards. You can easily carry them along with you, they help you to revise what you already know and you can keep learning new things as well. Drawing, another method works extremely well as most of us are great visual learners. Similarly if you use rhyming words, to convert something you want to learn, into a little poetry or a song, you will remember it better. You can make little posters that have things that you're supposed to remember, and pin them around your room. Looking at them over and over again will help you to memorize them. Only memorizing is not enough, if you are not able to understand what you are studying. For example when you are studying about a historical monument, visiting that historical monument in person will help you to understand it better. Similarly if there is a word that you don't know the meaning of, don't be too lazy to search it's meaning on the dictionary. Never just by heart something without understanding it. Understanding better makes studying more fun, rather than just by hearting what is written on your books. By hearting is done by bookworms, and being a bookworm is not cool.
