CT Audi drivers are glad to see that the old man is back in prime form, putting out Oscar-worthy flicks as part of his new unflappable image. In order to leverage the popularity of Tron, it was crucial for partner brands to have the right stuff. Audi is one of those brands, and a new partnership formed by Tron, Audi and the guys from Pimp My Ride (West Coast Customs) has led to one of the most exciting showcase items at this year's CES, which happened in January. The item? A brand new Tron-flavored Audi A8, one of the most exciting models in the Audi lineup this year. Weston used A4 dealers were in awe of the slick concept car, which features a silvery chrome finish and blue lights in each of its nooks and crannies making the vehicle look extremely futuristic and a solid replica of the vehicle styles in the movie.
It's great to see that Audi is jumping out on a limb and doing the right kind of marketing in an industry that often sacrifices its creativity. And I don't mean sacrificing creativity in terms of the actual content of the ads, I mean the kind of creativity that comes with thinking outside the box in terms of marketing. CT Audi dealers are really excited to see just what the Tron-themed car will spark in terms of consumer interest. This is one of those dream cars that isn't exactly practical to drive we're thinking mostly due to the glare that would come off the sleek chrome beast but it really would be a fun experience to take the car out on the track and see how it does.
