Make The Most Of Morocco In Majestic Marrakech

A Moroccan paradise, Marrakech is a fabulous place to visit if you're looking for a luxurious holiday in an exotic and friendly location. While there are plenty of cultural highlights and historic sights to enjoy, the city is also home to a variety of relaxing attractions and some entertainment that is sure to leave you feeling refreshed. No matter what time of year you travel, you're sure to find much to inspire in Marrakech and beyond - especially if you're looking to enjoy a trip to some of the nearby sandy beaches.

Also known as the Red City, Marrakech is home to a large variety of historical and architectural sites, including the El Bahia Palace and the Tanneries. Check out some of Marrakech's most culturally significant buildings by taking a tour of its local Mosques, including the amazing, Koutoubia Mosque. If your interests lie in discovering some of the area's local fauna, make sure to pay a visit to some of Marrakech's lovely parks and gardens - such as the gardens of Yves St.LaurentorMenara - or take part in a Marrakech Botanical Tour.

When the night falls, you'll find Marrakech's nightlife begins to light up. Djemaa el Fna square is the perfect place to get your evening in Marrakech off to a great start, as it boasts a nightly quota of storytellers, musicians and dancers. You'll also find a variety of local delicacies on sale, so you can be sure you won't go hungry on a night out. Visit the square during the day and you'll find a much quieter atmosphere, however, you could also run across a snake charmer or two keen to exhibit their skills.

The winding streets of Marrakech make it an exciting place to explore, and it's market streets are the perfect place to get a taste for the real soul of the city. When it comes to shopping, you'll find your every desire is well catered to in Marrakech. Pay a visit to the Souks to find everything from spices to shoes at excellent prices, making it an ideal place to find genuine souvenirs to take home.

On the other hand, you may prefer spending some time enjoying the boutique shopping opportunities of the New Town. Either way, make sure you leave plenty of space in your bags, as you're sure to find they are a lot fuller on your flight home than they were on your flights to Marrakech.
