The way it works is that the fat is liquidized by a laser injected under the skin with a tiny cannula attached, which then suctions out the liquidized fat. There not much movement or jarring under the skin, resulting in little to no bruising or swelling post operative. Most patients do not experience pain, swelling or bruising following surgery and can walk out of the office within three hours of the surgery.
