Gaga is said to be a mixture of Madonna and Europop music which is a style of music who first developed in the late 1970's and during the 1980's with pop stars in France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Netherland, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
Whether you are one of the many people who obviously like her or ones of those who don't, Lady Gaga has risen to the top because of her talent and her eccentric style both together which have set her apart.
Barbara Walter chose her as one of the top 10 most fascinating people of the year 2009, saying that she admired the fact that she was an artist that totally invented herself. Yes, Lady Gaga is a complete made up product, and it works.
In 2008 her album "The Fame" has peaked to number one in Europe countries such as the United Kingdom, Austria and Ireland. The album went number one in Canada as well and among the top five in the United States and Australia. The album "The Fame" has sold over twelve million copies so far.
Even if you are not a fan of Lady Gaga she is actually a real artist writing her own music and songs. She even stated that she writes music every day and that she works pretty fast.
Her new album "Born This Way" which she has been working on for most of the year 2010 will be release early 2011. The first single from this album will be released in February of 2011. According to Gaga herself this album is out of this world and better than anything she's ever done before.
Of course, in the end it's up to the fans to decide, but in any case we can already speculate that it will be a success and that Lady Gaga will again be on the top of record sales.
