A wood nest of tables is usually a set of three tables that are stacked one under the other, or they can be stacked. They became popular again in the early 1970's and then dropped from popularity only to resurge in current times. Of course there have been newer designs introduced as well as new materials to make them from. They are popular in wood, glass and metal, or even in plastic. Though any kind of wood can be used to make them, mango wood furniture is being used most recently for some truly outstanding creations.
Mango wood is so interesting because the grain is very unique. The mango tree is the same one that we get mango fruit from. The tree itself is only able to produce edible fruit for about twenty years, after that the tree is cut down and a new one is planted. Naturally no one wants to waste that wood, and once you see inside you'll know why. The natural color of the wood is a very light yellow but it tends to have streaks of green or orange running through it randomly. It can also develop darker lines in an array of shapes and sizes. It can easily be the most fascinating wood available, especially with a nest of tables where the wood is exposed for everyone to see.
The wood nest of tables is one of the most flexible furniture items you can possibly have. They were designed, originally to make the best use of very small spaces, but now they are found in some of the largest and most lovely homes. They are perfect for entertaining in the living room, playing games in the family room, or as bedside tables in the bedroom, using the third as a television stand. They make it easy to find a set to fit your current dcor, from pine, oak, walnut, cherry and even mango wood furniture. Nesting tables usually consists of three separate tables that can be stacked, or that run from approximately twenty inches for the largest one to successively smaller ones for the second and third tables. They stack neatly away and take up very little space. You can also use the tables separately.
Furniture made of mango wood is so lovely on its own that you can use them with other wood furniture and it won't clash. Most often they will blend so well with your dining set that you can use them as additional tables for children when the dining table is too full. For those with eclectic taste, furniture made of mango wood can be used along with most anything. You do need to consider, however, what one of the tables will look like but also what all three tables will look like when the tables are used separately. It is often agreed that you keep traditionally made furniture with like furnishings and more modern pieces with more modern furnishings.
