An interview may be defined as a formal conversation with someone, designed to extract information or assess their suitability for a position. An applicant may fail an interview if he/she does not elicit enough confidence or provide relevant and accurate information to enable the interviewer or employer to give an employment. In some cases, an applicant's failure in an interview may also be caused by the in competencies on the part of the panel. Many times, job applicants and Graduates cry foul after failing an interview, that despite their careful preparation, they still end up not getting called by the company. 7. An applicant may fail if the employer jump into wrong conclusions or make wrong assessment of the candidate
8. Failure to structure the process to achieve control of time and length of the interview may result in failure of the interview process. These are some of the basic reasons that may act against an applicant when applying for an interview.
