Long Distance Relationship Forums

Long distance relationship forums are a pain or a joy to those who are seeking support, solace, comfort, help or a glimmer of hope when they are feeling down! I have often spoken to people who have turned to them to talk about their situation and how unhappy they are with it and feel frustrated because they get no replies or the other people do not tell them what they want to hear. Going onto a forum does not mean that a magic wand is waved over your problem and it is all sorted, it simply means you can discuss it and tell people about it. If your lover is a pig or a louse or a liar then your lover still is a pig, louse or liar, no matter how much time you spend online.

There are some good forums out there, many of the ones I have seen are useless because they allow young lads and girls to go on there and advise people five times their age, when they do not know what they are talking about. They may say they must be 18 but even so an 18 year old is not in a position to understand a lot about relationships. Then you have the strange people who go onto forums just because their lives are empty, or they are mischeivous. I have seen the most ridiculous bits of advice being given and you wonder if the person is insane or stupid!

For a forum which is more grown up and where they filter out the daft and mischeivious posts i recommend the forum which is on the site askagonyaunt, which you can see by clicking on agony aunt. It is totally free, you do not have to fill in a long, time consuming forum, and it is grown up and sensible. Forums are time consuming places, you can lose whole days there if you are not careful, so do not waste your time on the childish or amateurish ones. I used to work as a full-time professional relationship expert so I know what it is like to be hurting or worried and how important it is not to listen to amateurs who do not know what they are talking about.
