You could redirect your expenses and buy your own product to use. But that does not help if you company have a high fixed quota of member's purchases every month in order for you to enjoy the over-riding commission you could earn from your down-line group sales.

More financial problems

Soon you would have accumulated a large supply of consumables supply of products that you are unable to finish using it yourself or sell it off. That would hurt you financially and that would be the last time they you would join a networking company from their bad experiences.

Everybody can join

If the initial cost to join is low, then anyone can join and try doing your business. Probably it does not hurt them too much if they just quit the business later. Most would join the company to enjoy the lower price they could purchase for themselves for the products that they like and are also using it right now.

Make it affordable

Those who would join a networking marketing company is those who want to live a better life style, enjoy financial freedom and wants to break away from their current monotonous job.

Most of them are usually from the middle or even from the lower income group. So if the starting investment cost is high, that would put them off from joining as they would fear if they are unable to sell off the product that would leave them deeper in financial problem.

An average initial cost which is affordable that people would not give a second thought about joining would be ideal. There will be less worry that they would lose a lot of money and probably they think they could recoup their initial investment by disposing off the products.
