It is a bit of a clich but it is all too true that nice guys generally finish last in dating. They are uninspiring in dating; they generally look to their girlfriends for reassurance and suffer self confidence. They remain nice throughout their relationship and will always be genuine, but ultimately after a while the relationship becomes stale and doesn't really go anywhere.
Nice guys generally lose their relationship after a while because of this reason, if they can even get one in the first place. Women are always looking for someone who will sweep them off their feet, and whilst they are with a nice guy this doesn't seem possible and they lose interest. Others seem to be sensitive and nice and women lose interest quite quickly.
These guys will always have a lot of friends, but most of their friends won't look up to them because they are pushovers. Being a pushover in a relationship is okay for a while, someone has to wear the trousers after all. But being a pushover is not a manly trait and given the fact that most women are looking for their men to be reassuring, strong and independent, nice guys generally don't cut it. It's no secret that nice guys finish last; in fact women are put off by this.
They will almost certainly be single, or they would have met a nice girl that likes to settle down with someone nice and simple. They like their life to be smooth and tranquil, it keeps everything in check for them and they never have to worry about anything. By ensuring this at an early stage they can settle down to the rest of their life and live the way they want to.
Nice guys won't change, they lack the know how or courage to do so. It is not in their nature to change their ways and become people who will not take no for an answer, or tell their girl how they want it, or how it is. They remain submissive and just generally nice. Whilst they remain in this way, it will always remain true that nice guys finish last.
Nice guys are the reason that nasty men get all the women, but they have their part to play in life's little game, generally as the best friend or a shoulder to cry on. Either way they do always finish last and will almost always remain that way in love.
