Insecurities Will Ruin Your Relationship
Insecurities Will Ruin Your Relationship

Insecurities in a relationship are the most common of all reasons for a relationship to break up. Either one of you is insecure and it makes the relationship weak and untrustworthy. Each of the couple thinks that the other one could be cheating on them and that you are both no good.

Insecurities prey upon the weak and non headstrong individuals, and as such if you get two together in a relationship you end up with a very hostile and fragile environment. If one of the parties is insecure then it means that the relationship generally becomes untenable, and the stronger one will inevitably walk away. As such, insecurities have become one of the most common reasons for breakup today.

Insecurities can crop up from a number of different sources. For example cheating that has gone on in a previous relationship is the most common cause of insecurity, maybe a lie that has been told close to the person can make them insecure. It can be hard for them to trust people and to believe them when they say to believe them.

Other reasons for the occurrence may be conceived during the relationship. For example if their other half stays out all night, or has suspicious behaviour then it may plant a seed in the mind of the insecure party and begin to grow. Once the seed is planted there is no way out for their insecurity, it will only grow. The only thing that can make it better is to reassure your partner every now and then and show that you are trustworthy. The only problem with this is that, it will eventually become very tiring and somewhat tedious.

Insecurities will prey on a relationship until it eventually ends, unless that person can work on them in a way that most cannot. If they can turn the tables and begin to trust their partner, then everything will begin to fall back into place, and their relationship which will thrive once again. It takes a strong headed individual to take the leap of faith and trust their partner, especially if they have insecurities in the first place.

Most insecurity problems eventually stem from the fact that the person is in some way unhappy with themselves. Whether it is a physical flaw, or a mental attribute that they miss, it plays on the mind of that relative person and their relationship suffers as a result. Constant reassurance will ultimately cut your relationship off at the knees.
