The legend tells the story of an old woman by the name of Thien Mu foretelling that a lord will come to the mound and built a temple in order to pray for the country's prosperity.

Other must-see destinations in Hue City are the picturesque tombs of the country's notable emperors, Khai Dinh, Minh Mang, and Tu Duc, regarded as the last emperor of Vietnam. Located all over Hue, these majestic structures stand as significant symbols of the city's imperial past.
