CBS Flicks presented their completely new action, thriller flick labeled "Faster" into movie theaters a couple of months ago. I just got through checking it out,and believed it was terrific.
Dwayne Johnson was highly intense in it,and seriously delivered some great scenes. I liked the story. It had a real amazing twist. It stars: Dwayne Johnson, Billy Bob Thornton, Carla Gugino, Maggie Grace, Oliver Jackson-Cohen,and Moon Bloodgood.
Faster revolved around a very tough guy named Driver. Driver's backstory is exposed during the entire movie as he's on a pursuit to obliterate a specific group of folks for retribution after he got released from jail. Evidently, him and his brother got setup after robbing a bank. They wound up murdering his brother, while he went to jail for 10 very long years.
After Driver gets released from prison,he wastes no time at all searching for the very first person that harmed him, with a bullet to the head. At the same time, the unknown man who was behind his setup has appointed a hitman to try to take Driver out. They come across each other a handful of times during the flick to produce one hell of a pistol fight shootout, along with a great vehicle chase scene.
The police are progressively working to seek out his trail, for them to capture him. In due course, Driver gets through his list of individuals to slay, letting one of them live because he turned his life around so drastically and prayed a good deal. The movie finished off with the hired hitman ultimately catching up to Driver where a large twist in the entire case is finally discovered.
They did a really very good job disguising the twist up until the very, very end. It was very ingenious, actually. I just really thought the film was really, really exceptional. I liked how it played out from beginning to conclusion. There was never a boring moment in it.
Dwayne's character Driver made it seem really intriguing from the jump because he consistently had this intense look on his face that let you know he was about to do something incredibly wacky and violent, and he did. I gave the movie an A score.
