In the midst of busy schedules, we tend to neglect exercise and importance of nutritious food. However, these two exercises form the basis of losing weight. Knowing how to lose weight naturally at home is indeed an inexpensive way to achieve a well sculpted body. The first thing I want to do here is to urge you to take action immediately! Not tomorrow, not next week, but right now! This brings me to my first piece of advice.

1. You didn't read the title incorrectly. Loading up on these Low-fat and diet products may be hurting you over the long run. For one usually the low fat or diet version of the product has a lot of salt or sugar. You may think what you eating is healthy but it could be hurting your intentions. Also many think this product is low fat or low calorie so if I eat 2 or 3 of them it isn't so bad. Often people end up eating more calories by eating the low fat version than they would have eating the regular product.

2. To lose weight naturally and fast, one should eat dark green leafy vegetables like spinach, broccoli, Swiss chard, mustard greens and collard greens. Fruits such as apples, oranges, pear and apricots are high in fiber and so have to be included in weight loss diets. Brown rice, whole grain breads, barley and breakfast cereals are also helpful to lose weight as they are high in fiber. Protein rich foods like fish (salmon), skinless chicken and nuts are high in essential fatty acids (healthy fats). Adding protein rich meals to weight loss diet benefits to melt excess fat and build muscles.

3. Go to the fruits and vegetable aisles when you go into the store. (If you load up with them you will be less likely to buy your normal binge foods.) Vary your foods. Meaning add a new meal every week.(When you eat the same thing every week, you get bored and just over eat.)

4. I'm not asking you to become super-human here, I want you to lead a full life. To most, this means some degree of sugar and unhealthy fats. This is okay! The key here is to separate the occasions. The best thing is to have, say, one day a week where you're allowed to eat pizza for dinner and popcorn as a snack, while you try to eat healthy the rest of the week.

5. Another big diet disaster is often a coffee break. Empty calories in high fat and high sugar coffee frappochinos can really limit your weight loss efforts. Especially since most people forget to count the calories they drink. If it isn't coffee then are you drinking pop, alcohol or fruit juice and/or smoothies? These can pack a calorie punch as well.

6. Exercises like walking performed at a brisk space have been beneficial to lose weight naturally and fast. Cardiovascular exercises like running and swimming are known to 'eat away' calories within a short span of time. Rigorous exercise workouts like sprinting, jumping, bicycling and elliptical trainer are excellent fat burning routines and therefore must be included in the weight loss program.

7. You can eat potatoes. A average baked potato has 0 grams of fat and only a 160 calories. Just don't load it down with butter and sour cream. (Oh and just for your information a order of fries that weight would have 13 grams of fat and over 450 calories!!!!!!!!!!!)
