Our world centers around language and communication when you stop and think about it nothing can be or is, done without communication in one form or another. Throught the centuries, man has invented new ways for humans to communicate with other humans and now it is even possible to speak to other species.

If not this can be a problem understanding the simplest things like location, directions, even warnings that are not, understood can be a danger.When people travel, to another country or city let us say Spain and do not know how to communicate with the people there this could be dangerous. If something were to happen and someone were to shout a simple warning such as "Look Out" in there native language and the visitor to the country did not understand the warning.
The visitor might be, struck by a car or some flying object. Another example is the visitor may not know how to tell a cab driver where he or she needs to go.Some other example of understanding different languages are things such as what if a person who speaks another language comes into your home such as an exchange student you will have to be able to communicate with this individual and fairly, quickly.
It is a good ideal if everyone were to try and, learn and understand at least two other languages.The most popular or most frequently spoken languages would be the best ones to choose. These would make the most logical choices this way there is more chance of you being prepared if a situation arises.

However, you are not limited to choosing only two languages you may learn as many languages as you would like to.Then you can be assured that you are always prepared for any situation that you would encounter.
