A light sunny covered on the Quang land, I accidentally touched to Cu Lao Cham island (Hoi An, Quang Nam province). Only about 15 minutes by speed boat from Hoi River tourism wharf, I stepped down the closely island as the name that people often call: Cu Lao Cham.

With the total of area is about 16 km2, Cu Lao Cham has 610 households and 2.700 inhabitants that mainly concentrate in Hon Lao. This place has a cool climate around year, abundant flora and fauna, and particularly in extremely precious resource of bird nests. Cu Lao Cham is rated as one of places of which precious coral reefs in Vietnam and in the region.
Nature also gifted Cu Lao Cham a lot of poetic and rare sceneries such as Tinh stream, Ong stream, Chong islet, Kho islet, Ba cave Along the island are ideal beaches with white sand and blue water named Ong beach, Bim beach, Bac beach
Hon Lao is the only largest island in which has people living. Archaeological study found the traces of the resident of a population over 3,000 years ago; and simultaneously demonstrated the trade and exchange with the Middle East, India, China, and Southeast Asia over 1,000 years ago. Irrigation systems related to farming techniques, agricultural cultivation of ancient inhabitants in this island have also been discovered.
