Kashmir- Paradise lost in politics
Kashmir- Paradise lost in politics

Kashmir as it is called "the Heaven on earth" is one of the most beautiful places on earth. With its huge mountains and cold weather it is known for sparkling lakes and sleepy rivers. Since ancient times many rulers came and ruled over the territory but after India became independent in 1947 this paradise became a dispute between the two countries, India and Pakistan. Since then there has been a fierce battle going on between the two countries.

From last two or three years Kashmir is facing a lot of hardships because of ongoing struggle of the people. People are now no longer satisfied with the situation in the valley as each year hundreds of innocent people are being killed for no fault of theirs. Many people get disappeared in the prisons. For the families of those who get killed it is hard to believe that their child or their kith or kin is no longer with them. Although their sufferings can't be overcome but it is possible to bring justice to them.

A root cause about the current scenario of valley is the disinterest of the politicians in the welfare of the people. Politicians are usually engaged in profiting themselves rather than caring for the sentiments of the people. People find no option than to take to streets and protest against the atrocities done on them. All this has led to the worsening conditions of the life of the people, their business & the education of their children. Valley is facing a lot of problems in every phase of life. Hope an early solution to the problem is taken out so that people out there live a normal life again.

It's not only a matter of the people living there. Many kashmiris are also facing problems outside their state. They are being considered as people who have no love for their nation, who are not only against their nation but are also helping other nations. All this cannot be well understood unless and until one goes to Kashmir and analyses the situation there. Even small kids are seen on streets with placards displaying their anger against the government.
