World of Warcraftis a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing game or MMORPG. It's the most popular, most well known, most played MMO available. With the changes Cataclysm brought about, the entire leveling process was revamped; questing was made lots easier with updates to the quest interface, as well as changing of all the pre level 60 zones. For instance, it used to be that all the zones available to go to for a certain level range were nowhere near the last zone that you were questing in. Travel time made up a lot of the leveling experience, and you even had to go through large high level zones to get to a zone you needed to be questing in. Now though the zones have been remade with specific level ranges in mind, they progress logically now from one to another and each race has a specific route they can use that will make travel time a non-existent problem.
Let's take for instance Night Elves. Before Cataclysm, you had to do your starting area, then travel to the eastern kingdoms through lots of different areas before you could get back to leveling quickly. Lots of extra travel time involved. Now-a-days you can do all the leveling up to level 60 on Kalimdor, in a natural progessive order without going to Eastern Kingdoms at all. Every race in the game now has a specific path they can take from 1-60 that takes out every last bit of travel time, and makes sure you stay killing and leveling rather than runnign or flying around. You can still go to the areas you like best to level too, with a cost of a bit of travel time at the start.
