North Wales
North Wales

North Wales has something for everyone. A place that allows you to choose such a diverse range of fantastic holidays throughout the year.

It doesn't matter what time of year you stay in holiday cottage in North Wales, hotel or a North Wales bed & breakfast, with great hospitality, its beauty is there for everyone to enjoy.

Within North Wales is the Snowdonia National Park - the 2nd largest in the UK. Famed for it's majectic mountain scenery, and a favourite with many walkers and mountain lovers across Britain. Many of the hikers in the area concentrate on Snowdon itself. However, there's plenty more gems to discover. Maybe try Tryfan, one of the few mountains in the UK south of Scotland the ascent of which needs hands as well as feet. There are also some spectacular walks in Snowdonia on the lower mountains, and they tend to be relatively unfrequented.

North Wales boasts some of the finest scenery in Britain. From the majestic mountains of Snowdonia with it's tourist honeypots of Llanberis, Betws-Y-Coed, Beddgelert and Dolgellau to the award winning beaches along the Llyn Peninsula with it's seaside villages of Criccieth, Aberdaron and Abersoch. Cross the Menai stright to the Isle of Anglesey, with it's incredible wildlife and dramatic coastline or stay in accommodation to enjoy the picturesque charm of Llangollen and the Borderlands.

Wales boast many wonderful seaside resorts where you can find a perfect holiday, including hotel and bed and breakfast accommodation in Llandudno, Barmouth and along Colwyn Bay, and steeped in history with castles at Caernarfon, Harlech and Conwy plus many others.

Anglesey is the largest Welsh island with an area covering 278 square miles, making it the fifth largest surrounding Great Britain. In common with the Llyn Peninsula, is it's micro-climate. The warm waters of the gulf stream bring warmer weather than the mainland, and it often avoids the wetter weather that clings to the mountains of Snowdonia.

There are also a multitude of visitor attractions. These include the Snowdon Mountain Railway, Harlech Castle, Caernarfon Castle and Conwy Castle, Swallow Falls at Betws-y-Coed, Bondnant Gardens and of course the Mediterranean style village of Portmeirion plus much much more.

From year round activity holidays or walking holidays, to summers spent lazing on the beautiful beaches - North Wales has it all.
