Another thing that will help you to improve is by mimicking people who have excelled in swimming. Observe them and try to put into practice what you see them doing. Consequently, it will be good for you to join a swimming team especially a team that have people within your age limit and social class. It will help you to feel free when you are swimming with them.

If you are swimming in the beaches, remember that you are still learning. Therefore do not swim far away from other people until you are competent to do that. Before you go far in the water, make sure that you are accompanied by a professional swimmer in case you are not able to make it back to your starting point.

As has been said before, swimming is an act that one masters by swimming always. In order to do that, you need to create timetable for your swimming workout. It will be good for you to have at least 30 minutes to one hour swimming practice 3 to 4 times in a week. Make sure that you follow your time table judiciously. As you are swimming regularly, you will wonder at your improvement.

There is appropriate attire for swimming. Before you embark on swimming workout, you need to first of all get those swimming gears. Always put on your goggle in order to protect your eyes. There is also ear plug for swimming. Always use ear plug for swimming to prevent water from entering your ear. If you want to swim with your wristwatch then it has to be a water resistant watch otherwise your watch will spoil.
