subject: Nokia N86 Review [print this page] The Nokia N86 is an advanced camera phone from Nokia, and it has an amazing 8 mega pixel camera. Not only is the camera very high in pixels but it also has a Carl Zeiss Tessar lens with a dual LED flash. These work together to take magnificent photos in brilliant clarity. There is plenty of storage on the N86 for your pictures (apparently it will be able to store over 4000). Along with that the N86 also has various photo editing tools and applications to enhance your pictures.
The Nokia N86 weighs a heavy 149 grams and measures 103.4mm x 51.4mm x 16.5mm, so it is definitely not the smallest phone around. However it was never meant to be. The screen is 2. 6 inches and there are a few quick keys beneath it, as well as a very large square navigational pad. Slide out to the side is a keypad, and if you slide out the other side there are dedicated camera keys.
There is a music player, but music is not the focus of the N86 so Nokia have not gone all out here like they have with the xpressmusic phones. The music quality is however very decent and more than sufficient for most peoples needs. There is also an FM radio.
Being a smartphone, the Nokia N86 has many applications and features. These include a document viewer GPS and a voice memo application. There are of course all the standard features like a calendar, alarm and personal planner.
In summary the Nokia N86 is a great camera phone with a decent music player and good business phone applications.
