I have been focusing much on my career which I chose since I was just out of college. I did not realize then how stressful and time consuming this chosen career would be. I barely have time for my family and myself and most importantly my passion for this career has worn off.
Realizing that, I started making plans in choosing another path that I could take in terms of my career or something that I could do where I would be able to earn. With that in mind, I prayed every night and searched the internet on the possible jobs that I could be passionate. However, I am faced with a difficult decision, because there is an inkling fear at the back of my mind that the job or career that I would choose would also lose its luster after a while just like the first career that I chose, that is until I came across this website that offers short courses. I realized then that short courses are the answer to my prayers!
Short courses are perfect for me, because I can try many things and see which new career would be for me. I do not have to go through 4 years of college again or pay loads of money for a new education. It only requires a short amount of time, you can also take it online and most importantly, it is very affordable. Another is that these short courses are mainly for beginners. Some of the courses that I saw are Comic Strips for Beginners, Computer for Beginners, Introduction to Cartooning, Introduction to Hospitality Management, Introduction to Journalism, Introduction to Life Coaching and a personal favorite of mine a course on Professional Wedding Planning.
These courses are perfect for those who are at lost in their professional life like me, especially for those who have untapped talents in sketching or drawing, or for those who would like to try their hand on the IT or computer related jobs.
If you would ask me which short courses I would take, I am thinking of taking up the Professional Wedding Planning course as I have observed that people are actually spending huge amount of money in their wedding preparations and I would love to tap that market and earn through that! Who knows, perhaps that career is also for me and there is no harm in trying!
