You must not weld in the opposite order to have the desired results.
There are some points to be considered I the gas welding as well. Use a small tip on the welder and make your settings right. If your weld is making too much or very little pressure, you should get the indication that your settings are not right. Make the right adjustments and then you can proceed accordingly.
