How To Be Successful - Time Management And Goal Setting

Lets start with a story. Everyone likes stories. Once upon a time, I was in this Networking Marketing / Direct Sell Company. This was not a small organization by any stretch of the imagination. This company had roughly 300,000 associates.

The company always place the leading five associates on the leader board on its website. I kept seeing this woman coming up month after month as being number 1. My sponsor would sometime come in 3rd or 4th on the leader board.

You might be saying to yourself, 3rd or 4th is good out of 300,000 associates. I agree with you, my sponsor was sponsoring around 37 people each month on occasion. But - he was not consistently doing this. My seeing the numbers this woman had each month, made me think about joining her. Not really, but the thought did cross my mind.

What my sponsor was bringing in, she double consistently. He sponsored 37, but she sponsor 60-75 people. I wanted to know how she did this regularly. I was about get my wish.

My sponsor arranged for our group to meet with her. What she said is simple. Everyday, write out a to-do list and work on those things. This was her key to success.

She said she would spend time learning new traffic methods and implementing them.

The two most over looked skills of newbies are goal setting are time management.

1. You got to have a clear purpose.

The woman wrote down her goals. Her goals were in plain sight. Now she knows, exactly what she needs to do.

One tool you could use is Google Calender. You can schedule the among of time you want to work on your task each day.

2. You can plan your day.

If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Now you can work around other tasks that are not related to your business. These non business

related task, can be scheduled also. This will help you get other priorities completed too.

3. You can begin to leverage yourself.

Somethings, you can outsource. Pay someone else to do some of your tasks. If you have children, you could get a nanny, while you work on your business. You could pay a ghostwriter to do some of your writing. You could use some tools that save you time.

Simply put, you set goals and accomplish them one at a time. She was always learning and putting in place new methods that increase her business. This was the key to her success, and it can be the key to your success.
