Miral video depicts a heart-rending story about a parentless Palestinian girl, who sees both the black and white shades of life after the first Arab-Israeli battle, which took away many innocent lives, besides leaving many without shelter and food. Miral had not even properly learnt to speak, when her father send her to an orphanage after the unfortunate demise of her mother. As she is being brought up inside the long walls of an orphanage, she is totally unaware of the hard challenges that the world is about to throw at her.After she grows up to become a teenager, she is given the responsibility to teach at a refugee camp, where she becomes aware of the hardships being faced by her people. When she gets romantically involved with a political activist named Hani, her mind starts placing bringing forth queries. She must decide fast whether to keep fighting for her people or to follow the Mama Hind's belief that peace has its roots in education.
Miral always sympathizes with the people in this tragic area. At 17, she teaches for the refugee camps and talk about the war, ethnics and religious conflict, neocolonialism and faith in the future. And Hani, a child in the orphanage, tries for political activist. When her political falls, she realized that nothing is more precious than happiness and peace for the people in the land of Jerusalem.
