4. Snacks should only be high protein, fat burning foods. Keep nuts, peanut butter (the kinds that don't have lots of additives), or high fiber fruits such as apples and melons, to name a few. You need at least eight 8-ounce glasses of water each day. Try to avoid carbonated drinks that cause bloating. You should also avoid caffeine and alcohol as much as possible as they will dehydrate you.
8. Never skip breakfast, as so many of us tend to do because we feel too rushed or too busy to eat. This is not good practice though. Eating a good breakfast is key to boosting your metabolism for the day and gets everything working properly.
