When I got The Second Chance Romance I was sure that I'd get and be disappointed because of the fact that there are a ton of relationship books out there that all claim and guarantee something while few of them actually do it or come through for people. When we try and get an ex back we usually decide that we can do it by ourselves. Some of us succeed while some of us only do things that push our ex further and further away from us. We're constantly hearing our ex say "I want nothing to do with you", "I don't want you in my life anymore", or "I can't get back together with you."
When we hear these things it like a sword slowing going through our hearts. Its like the pain and regret we feel after a break up can last longer than any pain we've ever felt physically. When me and my girlfriend broke up for the second time after two years being together I felt like this time she most definitely was going to give me a second time. I decided to do it on my arms like a lot of people do. I called constantly to apologize only to hear "Stop calling me, I don't want you anymore!" and then the dial tone.
When we broke up, Valentine's Day was coming up in a week and so I decided to use that occasion to try and romance her back into coming back. Keep in mind that I hadn't gotten The Second Chance Romance yet. When Valentine's Day came around, I got her roses, a card, chocolates, a bear, and I asked if we could go out on date. Basically I did all the things most women like on Valentine's Day. I ended up being completely rejected. She didn't take anything I came over to her place with, and said very clearly that me and her were through. I swear to God, I felt completely hopeless.
I loved this girl and I knew she was only hurt over what happened and that's why she was acting so cold to me. I basically realized that everything I was doing was wrong and I couldn't talk to the guys because they would just tell me to move on when I didn't want to. Feeling completely hopeless, the internet was of course the ultimate helper. The first "get your ex back" book I came across was The Second Chance Romance by some guy name Jason. I got it and decided to take it seriously that I would use it to get her back. In the book, Jason covered acting on the psychological triggers that will make an ex beg to come back.
What amazed me was when I started reading why making doing certain things won't make your ex come back. I was amazed because I made almost every mistake he talked about. Using this book and two of three weeks after the break up, my ex girlfriend called me saying she wanted me to come over to talk. We talked for like three hours, and we also had sex. In the morning she asked if I wanted to get back together and I seriously felt the tears coming to eyes. I said of course I want to get back together, and we've been with each other for about three months since me coming over that night.
The Second Chance Romance was a phenomenal book to have and really opened my eyes to why break ups happen and how to get an ex back. It's a great book to read for both men and women to get their ex back.
