The UFC 128 event scheduled for Saturday March 19 is headlined by a title fight: Mauricio "Shogun" Rua is set to defend his light-heavyweight belt against Jon Joneswho recently has just amazed me with his prowess in the Octagon. Jones has 12 wins under his belt, and only two of them by decision. When he gets in that octagon, he does NOT mess around. Of course, neither does Shogun, but he has not fought since UFC 113 due to knee surgery. I think Jones is going to put Shogun to sleep and win the title! Also on the fight card are two Millers..so you'd better be drinking MGD for this event. Jim Miller is going up against Kamal Shalorus in a lightweight bout, and Dan Miller is going up against Nate Marquardt in a middleweight bout. Also on the main fight card for UFC 128 is a heavyweight bout between Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic and Brendan Schaub. Co-headlining the fight is a bantamweight bout with Urijah Faber vs. Eddie Wineland. The winner of Faber vs. Wineland bout is rumored to be getting a position as a coach on next season's "The Ultimate Fighter." What is known for sure is that the winner will get a title fight against Dominic Cruz. At the UFC 128 weigh ins, everyone made their contracted weight. We are good to go! The main event starts at 10:00 p.m. EST. Spike TV is airing two preliminary fights at 9:00 pm: Luis Artur Cane Jr. vs. Eliot Marshall and Edson Barboza Jr. vs Anthony Njokuani. UFC's Facebook page will stream two other preliminary fights starting at 8:00 pm: Ricardo Almeida vs Mike Pyle and Kurt Pellegrino vs Gleison Tibau.

In a "Rocky" story come to life, Jon "Bones" Jones is getting the opportunity of a lifetime to fight Shogun Rua for the light heavyweight title this Saturday at UFC 128.and I've haven't looked this forward to a fight since Rashad vs. Rampage. There are a bunch more fights on the card too. Let's get it on. Preliminary Fights Give me Ricardo Almeida over Mike Pyle, Gleison Tibau over Kurt Pellegrino, Elliot Marshall over Luis Cane, and Edson Barboza Jr. over Anthony Njokuani. Undercard For my "upset pick," I'm like Brendan Schaub over Mirko Cro Cop. It might not be that big of an upset since Cro Cop's not really what he used to be, but humour me here. Dan Miller vs. Nate Marquardt could possibly steal the show in a wide open middleweight division (since no one in it is close to being a serious contender to Anderson Silva). I'm going with Miller with a decision victory. And if I'm right it's going to be a good night for the Miller family, because I'm also taking Jim Miller over Kamal Shalorus. Co-Main Event Next to Fedor, Uriah Faber is one of the biggest stars in MMA to yet compete in the UFC. I don't see anyway he's losing his debut fight, and will even go so far to say that after defeating Eddie Wineland they announce him as one of the coaches for the next season of The Ultimate Fighter. Main Event Maybe I'm buying way too much into the hype, but I honestly think Jon Jones is your next light heavyweight champion. His endurance really hasn't been tested and this is a five round fight, but I'm taking Jones via TKO.

It's come, the light heavyweight title match we've been looking for. Not particularly these particular fighter, rather a fight we know will be exciting no matter what. I'm speaking of Mauricio "Shougun" Rua Vs. Jon "Bones" Jones. With Penn vs. Fitch leaving a bad taste in our mouths this may be just the match up to get fan as hyped as they were before. Of course there are many matches before the main event,
