e) Ensure you use water sparingly on the lawn. It is ideal if you can use bath water that does not have too many bubbles or soap. That way you need not use separate clean water and add to your cost, not to mention the impact it will have on the environment.
f) Do remember that the initial cuttings as well as the last cuttings of the season are very crucial. If you happen to leave the grass uncut the first time and without shortening it much, it will grow very tall and you will have to put in a lot of effort to mow it. Similarly, when you cut it the last time, you have to ensure that the cut is a deep one and not leave too much of grass. Use the mower unhesitatingly.
