Geek! Trust me, I have been called worse. I'm the type of person that can't get enough gaming and technology. Whether I'm playing video games or reading blogs, I'm always up-to-date on the industry. Technology is exciting to me and I love how it is constantly evolving.
So how do I keep myself up-to-date when I'm on the road? Simple; I have an iPhone 4. Pair this up with the G4 app and I'm good to go. This application is your mobile home for up-to-the-minute gaming news, which includes previews, reviews, game trailers, videos, and interviews with developers. You can also get G4TV show schedules and all the great coverage that they offer on gaming conventions, such as E3 and the Tokyo Game Show.
And how about technology? Don't worry, the G4 app has you covered here too. Find the hottest and newest tech news and reviews on things like phones, computers, and tablets. Want to know about the newest features of the Apple iPad or Samsung Galaxy Tab? G4 app to the rescue!
The app is simple to navigate and you'll notice this right away, with the four bottom tabs. You're defaulted to TheFeed,' which is up-to-the-minute news, but you can easily switch your display to Games,' Videos,' and More.'
The Games' tab is your source for all the latest gaming news, which can be broken down by console. You can also break it down by most recent' or most popular,' if you desire.
The Videos' tab, which happens to be my favorite, makes keeping up-to-date with the technology world brainless. Just click and watch. This is where you will find G4TV shows, like Attack of the Show' and X-Play,' and its also where you can watch exclusive videos, such as Feedback' and Sessler's Soapbox.'
Lastly, the More' tab is where you can find More,' duh. Here you can find shows, cheats, photos, and much More.' Also, if you'd like to send G4 some suggestions on future articles, this is the place to submit it.
So get yourself to the Apple App Store or the Android Market and join me in the world of Geek. There's only one way that you can judge this app and that's by testing it out yourself. Don't like it? Delete it. The best part about the G4 app is that it's free! Whether you have an iPhone 4 or a Droid 2, its right in front of your taped-up glasses.
