Undergraduate study at the associate's and bachelor's degree levels provide students with a fundamental overview of the field. This allows students to further their education at the graduate degree level or step into a career. Students can train to work in social service, advertising, business, and education. When pursuing a graduate degree at either the master's or doctorate degree level students are required to choose a specialty. Master's degree programs help students acquire advanced capability to conduct research and utilize their analytical reasoning. Earning a PhD is highly recommended to become a practicing psychologist. Perception

Human Development

Personality

Social Psychology

Abnormal Psychology

To learn about how individuals acquire and access knowledge students take a cognitive psychology course. Study can include topics such as development, memory, attention, and language. These two courses are just a general overview. Further educational study prepares students to understand complex theories and practices.
