Gematria in Relation to Easter
Gematria involves the use of the numerical value of words in the attempt to find hidden truth in Scripture. This is made possible by the fact that both Hebrew, the language of the OT, and Greek, the language of the NT, use characters of the respective alphabets for numbers. Therefore, every word has a numerical value as well as a specific meaning. It has been postulated that words and phrases of the same numerical value are associated. Since the inspiration to use gematria in evaluation of Scripture first came to me in February, 2008, I have recorded approximately three thousand numerical associations. The majority of these findings came to me in just a few brief periods of inspiration. Some of the findings are controversial, but many are related to what is written in the Bible concerning Jesus, and confirm what is generally accepted as Christian doctrine. The method I have used involves composing sentences using root words (according to Strong's Concordance), usually in Hebrew, but sometimes in Greek, instead of the correct spelling of the words according to rules of grammar. The numerical values of the sentences are then calculated to demonstrate associations; by arriving at specified values of significance, or as the result of gematria values found at random which are equal to words directly related to the sentence. The gematria values for the following Greek words confirm the truth of Scripture regarding Jesus:
JESUS = ' = 888
CHRIST = = 1480
JESUS CHRIST = ' = 800 + 1480 = 2368
LORD JESUS CHRIST = ' = 800 + 888 + 1480 = 3168
In the examples to follow, each root word that is used is identified by its Strong's number, the "translation" in Hebrew or occasionally in Greek is shown, and the gematria value for each root word is then indicated along with the total gematria value for the sentence. Hebrew is written from right to left.
When sentences are composed using root words in Hebrew which correspond to what is written in Scripture concerning the divinity of Jesus and the purpose of His coming, the numerical values for the sentences confirm the truth. Before Christ began his ministry, he was baptized by John the Baptist. After Jesus was baptized, Scripture tells us that the Spirit of God proclaimed the divinity ofChrist: And it came to pass in those days that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in the Jordan. And straightaway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him. And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Mark 1: 9-11. Exactly what occurred in a literal sense is unclear, but gematria gives confirmation forthe divinity of Jesus when root words in Hebrew are used to "translate" what was written originally in Greek of the NT.
The Lord (H3068) came up (H5927) out of (H4480) the water, (H4325) and saw (H7200) the Spirit (H7307) descending (H3381) upon (H5921) him. And there came (H935)thevoice (H6963) of the Lord (H3068) God (H430) from (H4480) heaven, (H8064) saying, (H559) Thou (H859) art my beloved (H157) Son, (H1121) in whom (H834) I am well pleased. (H2654)
TheSon (H1121) of God (H430)came up (H5927) out of (H4480) the water, (H4325) and saw (H7200) the Spirit (H7307) descending (H3381) upon (H5921) him. And there came (H935)a voice (H6963) from (H4480) heaven, (H8064) saying, (H559) Thou (H859) art my beloved (H157) Son, (H1121) in whom (H834) I am well pleased. (H2654)
Throughout the NT, Jesus repeatedly claimed to have been sent into the world by God the Father to do His will. Gematria confirms that it is Jesus who was sent by the Father into the world to die as the sacrifice for the sins of men.
The Father (H1) sent (H7971) His only (H3173) Son (H1121) into (H413) the world. (H8398)
432 + 31 + 52 + 32 + 338 + 3 = 888 = JESUS
TheFather (H1) sent (H7971)His only (H3173) Son (H1121) to die (H4191) as asacrifice.(H2077)
17 + 446 + 52 + 32 + 338 + 3 = 888 = JESUS
In theGospel of John, Jesus speaks ofthe purposefor which hewas sent by theFather; to be the shepherdand to lay down his life for the sheep: As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. Therefore doth myFather love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. Ihavepower to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.John 10: 15, 17-18. Gematriashows thatthis passage ofScripture is confirmed as true: Jesus laid down his life; it was not taken from him.
Therefore (H3651) theFather (H1) loves (H157) me because (H3588) I lay down (H7901) my life. (H2416)No (H3808) man (H376) taketh (H3947) it, but (H3588) Ilay it down (H7901) of myself. I (H589)have power (H3581) to take (H3947) my life (H2416) again. (H3254) This (H2063) commandment (H4687) haveI received (H3947)of my Father. (H4480) (H1)
The Son (H1121) of man (H120) laid down (H7901) his life. (H2416) Therefore (H3651) the Father (H1) loves (H157) him, because (H3588) he laid down (H7901) his life. (H2416)
The Lord (H3068) laid down (H7901) his life (H2416) for the sheep. (H6629) The Father (H1) loves (H157) him because (H3588) he laid down (H7901) his life. (H2416)
Jesus is the Lamb of God: And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God. John 1: 36. Jesus is the Lamb that was slain: ...Worthy is the Lamb that was slain... Revelation 5: 12. Gematria by the method being used confirms that Jesus is the Messiah, the Lamb that was slain, and the Savior of men.
The Messiah, (H4899) the Lamb (H3532) that was slain. (H2026)
208 + 322 + 358 = 888 = JESUS
Behold, (H2005) the Lamb (H3532) of God, (H430) the Savior (H3467) of men.(H120)
45 + 380+ 86 + 322 + 55 = 888 = JESUS
The Messiah and Saviorwho was promised in Old Testament prophecies is Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God.
The Messiah, (H4899)the one (H259)Savior, (H3467)shall be (H1961)called (H7121)the Lamb (H3532)of God. (H430)
It is Christian doctrine that salvation is possible only through the blood of the Lamb, the sacrifice of Jesus for our sins. Gematria proves that salvation comes only through the blood of Jesus Christ.
Salvation (H3444) comes (H935) only (H3173) from (H4480) the blood (H1818) of the Lamb. (H3532)
322 + 44 + 90 + 32 + 9 + 391 = 888 = JESUS
Only (H3441)the blood (H1818)of the Lamb (H3532)of God (H430)is able (H3201)to give (H5414) salvation (H3444) unto man (H120)
The blood (H1818)of the sacrificed (H2076)perfect (H8549)Lamb (H3532)of God,(H430) the Son (H1121)of God (H430)and Savior, (H3467) gives (H5414)salvation. (H3444)
According to Scripture, Jesus is the "bread of life": For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. John 6: 33. Jesus said: I am the bread of life. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. John 6: 48, 50-51. The truth of this passage of Scripture, that Jesus is the bread of life,is proven by the gematria values obtained when using root words which restate what is written in the Bible.
The bread (H3899) of life (H2416) came down (H3381) from (H4480) God (H430) in heaven. (H8064)
390 + 86 + 90 + 214 + 18 + 78 = 671
BREAD (G740) = = 671
The Son (H1121) of God (H430) is the bread (H3899) that (H3588) came down (H3381) from (H4480) the Father (H1) to give (H5414) life. (H2416)
Jesus, the Son of God, who was the bread of life that came down from God, is the only man who was without sin. Observe another word with the value of 1071:
WITHOUT SIN (G361) = = 1071
The bread (H3899) of life (H2416) that (H3588) came down (H3381) from (H4480)heaven (H8064) a sin offering (H2403) for man.(H120)
The bread (H3899)of life (H2416)that (H3588)came down (H3381)from (H4480)heaven (H8064)was (H1961)theflesh (H1320)of the Lord (H3068)given (H5414)for the life (H2416)of all (H3605) the world. (H8398)
I (H589) am the living (H2416) bread (H3899) from (H4480) heaven, (H8064) and the bread (H3899) I give (H5414) is my flesh (H1320) which (H834) I give (H5414) for the life (H2416) of the world. (H8398)
In Isaiah, God is proclaimed ashe who blots outthe transgressions of man andthroughwhom we are justified: I, even I, am he that blotteth out thytransgressions for my own sake, and will not remember thy sins. Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayestbe justified. Isaiah 43: 25-26. This OT promise is fulfilled in Jesus, by whose bloodour sins are blotted out and we are justified in the sight of God as proclaimed in the NT: For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Matthew 26: 28. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from the wrath through him. Romans 5: 9.Inwhom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace. Ephesians 1:7. In whom wehave redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1: 14. In the passage from Isaiah, God says that to be justified we must "put him in remembrance." Before Christ's crucifixion, He said the following at the Last Supper: And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, whenhe hadsupped, saying,This cupis the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, inremembrance of me. 1Corinthians 11: 24-25. Gematria confirms that it is through the blood of Jesus, theSon of God, by which our transgressionsare blotted out, our sins are forgiven, and by acknowledgement and remembranceof His sacrifice we are justified.
I (H595) am the Son (H1121) of God, (H430)he (H1931) that blotteth out (H4229) thy transgressions (H6588) with (H5973)his blood. (H1818)
The Son (H1121) of God (H430) said, (H559) This (H2088) is my body, (H6106) broken (H7665) for you: take, (H3947) eat (H398) this (H2088) bread. (H3899) This (H2088) cup (H3563) is the new (H2319) covenant (H1285) in my blood: (H1818) drink (H8248) this (H2088) cup (H3563) in remembrance (H2142) of me.
As with othergematria confirmations ofScripture, the same Biblical truth can be stated in different ways, and the numerical values repeatedly confirmeach truth. This is demonstrated with the next three gematria correlations.
The Lord (H3068) said, (H559) This (H2088) is my body, (H6106) broken (H7665) for you: eat (H398) this (H2088) bread (H3899) in remembrance (H2142) of me; this (H2088) is my blood: (H1818) drink (H8248) this (H2088) cup (H3563) in remembrance (H2142) of me until (H5704) I come (H935) again. (H3254)
The Lord (H3068) broke (H7665) the bread (H3899) and said (H559) this (H2088) is my body, (H6106) eat (H398) this (H2088) bread (H3899) in remembrance (H2142) of me. Then (H227) he said, (H559) this (H2088) is my blood, (H1818) shed (H8210) for all (H3605) sin: (H2403) drink (H8248) this cup (H3563) in remembrance (H2142) of me, until (H5704) I come (H935) again. (H3254)
This (H2088) is my body, (H6106) broken (H7665) for you: eat (H398) this (H2088) this bread (H3899) in remembrance (H2142) of me; this (H2088) is my blood, (H1818) shed (H8210) as a sacrifice: (H2077) drink (H8248) this (H2088) cup (H3563) in remembrance (H2142) of me until (H5704) I come. (H935)
While celebrating the Last Supper, Jesus told his disciples that he would be betrayed: And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. The Son of man goeth as it is written of him, but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! It had been good for that man if he had not been born. Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, Thou hast said. Matthew 26: 21, 24-25. Judas had already determined to betray the Lord: Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests, and said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver. And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him. Matthew 26: 14-16. In this passage of Scripture, the Greek word used for "betray" has the meaning of: surrender, yield up, betray, deliver up. The amazing confirmation of Biblical inerrancy through the numerical value of root words is demonstrated quite clearly in the following when the Hebrew root word which means "deliver up" is used for "betrayed."
I (595) say (H559) that (H3588) one (H259) of you will betray (H5462) the Son (H1121) of man. (H120) But (H3588) woe (H188) unto (H413) that (H1931) man; (H120) it had been good (H2896) for that (H1931) man (H120) if (H518) he had not (H3808) been born. (H3205)
The Son (H1121) of man (H120) was betrayed (H5462) according to the prophecy (H5016) of Scripture. (H3791)
422 + 64 + 263 + 45 + 52 = 846
THIRTY (H7970) PIECES OF SILVER (H3701)
160 + 686 = 846
I (H595) say (H559) unto (H413) you that (H3588) one (H259) of you will betray (H5462) the Lord. (H3068)
26 + 263 + 13 + 30 + 31 + 241 + 81 = 685
He said, (H559) Verily, (H403) one (H259) of you will betray (H5462) the Son (H1121) of man. (H120)
45 + 52 + 263 + 13 + 71 + 241 = 685
But (H3588) woe (H188) unto (H413) that (H1931) man (H120) who shall betray (H5462) the Son (H1121) of man! (H120)It had been good (H2896) for that (H1931) man (H120) if (H518) he had not (H3808) been born. (H3205)
As they did eat, (H398) he said (H559) unto (H413) them that (H3588) one (H259) of them would betray (H5462) the Son (H1121) of man, (H120) as it is written. (H3789) But (H3588) woe (H188) unto (H413) that (H1931) man (H120) by whom (H834) the Son (H1121) of man (H120) is betrayed. (H5462) It had been good (H2896) for that (H1931) man (H120) if (H518) he had not (H3808) been born. (H3205)
When Jesus was crucified, he was mocked, the Roman soldiers cast lots for his garments, and a sign was placed over him as he hung on the cross: And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots. And sitting down they watched him there; and set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS. Matthew 27: 35-37. The root words in Greek for what was written on the sign over Christ's head as he hung on the cross confirm that, indeed, Jesus is the King of the Jews.
THIS (G3778) IS (G2076) THE KING (G935) OF THE JEWS (G2453)
I = 1040 + 515 + 848 + 765 = 3168 = LORD JESUS CHRIST
The crucifixion of Christ was not the end. Jesussaid that the temple would be destroyed, and in three days it would be raised up, in reference to His crucifixion and resurrection: Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? But he spake of the temple of his body. When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said. John 2: 19-22. Gematria using Hebrew root words to state this Biblical truth confirms that Jesus Christ is the temple of God which was raised upthree days after being destroyed.
The Lord (H3068) answered (H6030) and said (H559) unto (H413) them, Destroy (H8045) this (H2088) temple (H1964) and in three (H7969) days (H3117) I will raise it up (H6965) again. (H3254)
The Lord (H3068) answered (H6030) and said (H559) unto (H413) them, Destroy (H8045) this (H2088) temple (H1964) and in three (H7969) days (H3117) I will raise it up (H6965) again. (H3254) But (H3588) he spake (H559) of the temple (H1964) of his body. (H6106)
When different root words for both "destroy" and "this" are used, the truth is still confirmed.
The only (H3173) Son (H1121) of God (H430) answered (H6030) and said, (H559) Destroy (H7843) this (H1931) temple (H1964) and after (H310) three (H7969) days (H3117) I will raise it up. (H6965)
The only (H3173) Son (H1121) of God (H430) said, (H559) Destroy (H7843) the temple (H1964) of God, (H430) which (H834) is my body, (H6106) and after (H310) three (H7969) days (H3117) I will raise it up (H6965) again. (H3254)
The Lord (H3068) said, (H559) My body (H6106) of flesh (H1320) shall be destroyed (H8045) and then (H227) after (H310) three (H7969) days (H3117) I will be raised up. (H6965)
Thus (H3541) saith (H559) the Lord, (H3068) Destroy (H7843) the temple (H1964) of God (H430) and after (H310) three (H7969) days (H3117) the only (H3173) Son (H1121) of God (H430) will be raised up. (H6965)
Jesus said that He must suffer and andbe killed, but He would arise the third day: From that time forth began Jesus to show unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders, and the chief priests and the scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Matthew 16: 21. For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day. Mark 9: 31. Saying, the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and the chief priests, and the scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day. Luke 9: 22. Saying, the Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. Luke 24: 7. And he said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day. Luke 24: 46. Gematria confirms this truth, first through random gematria findings.
The Son (H1121) of man (H120) must be delivered (H5414) into the hands (H3027) of sinful (H2400) men. (H120)
45 + 18 + 14 + 500 + 45 + 52 = 674
DELIVER/DELIVER UP TO BE JUDGED (G3860) = = 674
CONDEMN/TO GIVE JUDGEMENT AGAINST (G2613) = = 674
And they shall mock him and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again. Mark 10: 34.
It is written (H3789) in Scripture, (H3791) the Messiah (H4899) must suffer (H5375) many things. (H7227)
202 + 351 + 358 + 422 + 422 = 1755
SPIT UPON (G1716) = = 1755
ACCUSE FALSELY (G4811) = = 1755
The truth is repeatedly confirmed by the gematria values associated with Jesus.
The Son (H1121) of man (H120) must go (H1980) unto Jerusalem, (H3389) and suffer (H5375) many things, (H7227) and be killed, (H5221) and be raised (H6965) again (H3254) the third (H7992) day. (H3117)
Thus (H3541) it is written (H3789) in Scripture, (H3791) the Messiah (H4899) must suffer (H5375) many things, (H7227) and be raised (H6965) from (H4480) the dead (H4191) the third (H7992) day. (H3117)
It is written, (H3789) the Son (H1121) of man (H120) must suffer (H5375) many (H7227) things (H1697) and be slain, (H2026) but (H3588) he will be raised (H6965) the third (H7992) day. (H3117)
The Son (H1121) of man (H120) must be delivered (H5414) into the hands (H3027) of sinful (H2400) men, (H120) and they shall kill (H5221) him; and after (H310) they kill (H5221) him, he shall arise (H6965) again (H5750) from (H4480) the grave (H6900) the third (H7992) day. (H3117)
It is written, (H3789) the Son (H1121) of God (H430) will be delivered (H5414) into the hands (H3027) of sinful (H2400) men, (H120) and be killed; (H5221) and it shall come to pass (H1961) after (H310) he has been killed, (H5221) he shall be raised (H6965) the third (H7992) day. (H3117)
It is written, (H3789) the Messiah (H4899) must suffer (H5375) and die, (H4191) and then (H227)will be raised up(H6965) from (H4480) the dead (H4191) after (H310) three (H7969) days. (H3117)
It is written, (H3789) the Son (H1121) of man (H120) will be delivered (H5414) into the hands (H3027) of sinful (H2400) men, (H120) and suffer (H5375) many things, (H7227) and be killed; (H5221) but (H3588) the Lord (H3068) will be raised (H6965) from (H4480) the dead (H4191) the third (H7992) day. (H3117)
Jesus came as the one sacrifice to fulfill the law:But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand ofGod; Hebrews 10: 12. The sacrifice of Jesuswas for the sins of the whole world: And heis the propitiation forour sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. 1John 2: 2. Jesus, the Lamb of God, is the one sacrifice for thesins of the world.
But (H3588) this (H2088) man, (H120) after (H310) he had offered (H2076) one (H259) sacrifice (H2077) for sins, (H2403) sat down (H3427) at the right (H3225) hand (H3027) of God. H430)
The Lamb (H3532) of God, (H430) the one (H259) sacrifice (H2077) for the sins (H2399) of the world. (H8398)
432 + 18 + 17 + 13 + 86 + 322 = 888 = JESUS
But (H3588) this (H2088) man, (H120) after (H310) he had offered (H2076) one (H259) sacrifice (H2077) for the sins (H2403) of the whole (H3605) world (H8398) forever, (H5769) arose (H6965) the third (H7992) day, (H3117) and sat down (H3427) at the right (H3225) hand (H3027) of God. (H430)
But (H3588) this (H2088) man, (H120) after (H310) he had offered (H2076) one (H259) sacrifice (H2077) for the sins (H2403) of the whole (H3605) world (H8398) forever, (H5769) arose (H6965) again (H5750) from (H4480) the dead (H4191) the third (H7992) day, (H3117) and he sat down (H3427) upon (H5921) the throne (H3678) at the right (H3225) hand (H3027) of God (H430) the Father. Salvation through Jesus is possible because He was raised fromthe grave and has dominion over death: ...like as Christ was raised upfrom the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him. Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. Romans 6: 4,8-9. The numerical value of words according to the method that has been revealed to me by the Spirit confirms that Jesus is the Son of God, the risen Savior.
The Son (H1121) of God, (H430) the promised (H1696)Savior (H3467)risen (H6965)to life. (H2416)
18 + 146 + 380 + 206 + 86 + 52 = 888 = JESUS
The only (H3173)Son (H1121)of God, (H430) the Lamb (H3532)of God, (H430) risen (H6965)to eternal (H5769)life.(H2416)
In John's vision recorded in Revelation Jesus speaks to him: Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive forever more, Amen; and have the keys of hell and death. Revelation 1: 17-18. The numerical value of Hebrew root words related to thispassage of Scripture confirms the truth.
I (H589) am the Son (H1121) of God (H430) that liveth (H2416) and was dead (H4191) and I (H589) am alive (H2416) forever more. (H5769)
I (H595) am the Lord, (H3068) he (H1931) that liveth (H2416) and was dead, (H4191) and, behold, (H2009) I (H595) am alive (H2416) forever more. (H5769)
The Lord (H3068) said, (H559) Fear (H3372) not, (H408) I (H595) am the first (H7223) and the last, (H319) the Son (H1121) of God (H430) that liveth (H2416) and was dead. (H4191)
The Lord (H3068) said, (H559) Fear (H3372) not, (H408) I (H589) am the first (H7223) and the last; (H319) he (H1931) that was dead, (H4191) and liveth (H2416) forever more. (H5769)
Through Jesus man can have victory over sin and death: O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1Corinthians 15: 55-57.
The only (H3441)Son (H1121)of God, (H430) the Messiah, (H4899) the Savior (H3467)of all (H3605)men, (H120) shall have (H1961)victory (H8668)over (H5921)sin (H2398)and death. (H4194)
The Bible makes clear what is required to be saved: ...we believe that through the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved... Acts 15: 11. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved... Acts 16: 31. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10: 9. To be saved is to be given the gift of God, eternal life. Those who reject the gift of God face death, and gematria confirms this truth.
Without (H3808)confession (H3034)that (H3588)the Father (H1)raised (H6965)the Son (H1121)of God (H430)there is no (H369)life.(H2416)
18 + 61 + 86 + 52 + 146 + 3 + 30 + 19 + 31 = 446
DEATH (H4194)
446
Salvation comes only from faith in God: proven this time by the gematria value of Greek root words.
Only (G3441)faith (G4102)in (G1722)God. (G2316)
430 + 800 + 55 + 284 = 1419
SALVATION(G3490)= =1419
And it is only through the sacrifice of Jesus, and the blood of the Lamb of God, that we can have salvation.
The blood (H1818)of the Lamb (H3532)of God (H430) gives (H5414)salvation (H3444)unto (H413)man. (H120)
45 + 31 + 391 + 500 + 86 + 44 = 1419
SALVATION(G3490)= =1419
The blood (H1818)of the Lamb, (H3532) the sacrificed (H2076)Son (H1121)of God, (H430) the Savior, (H3467) gives (H5414)life. (H2426)
18 + 500 + 380 + 86 + 52 + 17 + 322 + 44 = 1419
SALVATION(G3490)= =1419
In the OT, it was necessary to sacrifice a perfect lamb, one without blemish, for a sin offering. Jesus was the perfect Lamb, the one sacrifice for the sins of all men.
Only (H3173)the blood (H1818)of a sin offering, (H2403) the perfect (H8549)Lamb (H3532)of God, (H430) shall give (H5414)salvation.(H3444)
391 + 500 + 86 + 322 + 490 + 23 + 44 + 32 = 1888
The only word which has this value is the one which perfectly corresponds to the sentence.
SALVATION/THAT BRINGS SALVATION/HE WHO EMBODIES SALVALTION(G4992) = =1888
Gematria of the primary spelling of words used in a "shorthand translation" of sentences which are consistent with what the Scripture says confirm the inerrancy of the Bible. The most important truth of Scripture is the gospel message that Christ came to provide salvation for all men, through His death on the cross and His resurrection. In Romans, Paul wrote: For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1: 16. Gematria of Hebrew root words consistent with this verse has a remarkable association. (The Hebrew word used for "gospel" is the word which has the same meaning, i.e.: "preach good tidings.")
The gospel (H1319) of the Son (H1121) of God (H430) is the power (H3581) of God (H430) unto (H413) salvation (H3444) for those that believe. (H539)
91 + 391 + 31 + 86 + 28 + 86 + 52 + 502 = 1267
GOSPEL (G2098)= = 1267
The gospel message is one of God's love for mankind, which was demonstrated by Jesus, God in the flesh, who gave his life for men: Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15: 13. When the gematria values of Hebrew root words which correspond exactly to the Greek words used in this verse are calculated, the identity of the one who laid down his life for his friends is revealed.
Greater (H1419) love (H157) hath no (H3808) man (H376) than (H4480) this, (H2088) that a man (H120) lay down (H7901) his life (H2416) for his friends. (H157)
Jesus fulfilled the prophecies of the OT for a Savior, sent by the Father, who would suffer and die. He was the perfect Lamb, who gave his life so that all might be saved, simply by repentance, and believing that he died for our sins, and arose from the grave. Jesus, who was God in the flesh, demonstrated his great love for mankind when he laid down his life for the sins of the whole world. He arose from the dead to everlasting life, and will return to gather those who have acknowledged him as Savior. This is the gospel message of Easter, and like Paul, I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation for those that believe.
