Working Together for Recovery

Jobs are one of the most important factors involved with the recovery from economic disaster. In history it is hard to find any country that has survived a total collapse of their economy without first rebuilding their job market. Socialism and/or communism have tried this for centuries. Most often jobs created in this arena are government owned; government controlled and guess who benefits the most, the government. To cap that off, countries under socialism or communism normally wind up ruled by some dictator that eventually takes all the wealth as it belongs to them.

The most sought after country in the world has been the USA.There is no other country over the past 100 years that so many people have permanently become citizens.

Why?

Our Democratic Government

Private and Stock Owned Businesses

All the freedoms to pursue happiness

Goals that can be set and achieved

Good Paying Jobs

One of the biggest reasons we are having such a problem with getting our economic stability back on track lies within the inability for two parties in our political system to get along. You would think they are from two different countries with differing ideas to the point that they can't even talk to one another. It is time for our politicians to sit down and take a long hard look in the mirror. Sooner or later surely they would realize that they are on the same team. Knowing that we have all these political differences is not an excuse for conservatives and liberals not

working together. Once elected to an office our politicians should go and serve their constituents whether conservative are liberal. We elect people to Congress to get things done, not to go argue over everything without accomplishing anything. If they can't do the job, they don't deserve the job. Vote them out and elect productive politicians that truly represent the people and not just their own interests.

When I took typing in high school we used a sentence for practice that has grown very special to me,"Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country". That quote has never been more special to me than now. It is evident to me that we do have a few good men and women serving our nation in our government. However, they seem to be pulling in opposite directions putting stress on our economic stability. Regardless of the party that a politician belongs, every one of them should be included in writing our laws and present to vote on those laws. Nothing should be past without participation from all.

It's not just about jobs coming back home and creating new jobs, it's about being able to sustain those jobs long-term. The way our politicians are ruining our economy by unlimited spending and know way to pay for it will be the devastating ruin of our country. Let's don't wait until it's too late. Whether you support one party or another, vote for people that do what they say and what is best for our country. That's my thoughts, what's yours?
