Hyderabad weather often becomes the topic of discussion for most of the tourists and travelers. Hyderabad and Secunderabad also known as the twin cities of India has become a major business hub and therefore hotels in Hyderabad are generally flooded with guests all throughout the year. But before planning a visit to Hyderabad, India people want to know its climatic condition as usually the city experiences warm climate.
The summers of Hyderabad are quite warm as the temperature reaches up to the maximum level of 40 deg Celsius and minimum of 30 deg Celsius. The summer season starts from the month of March to May. It becomes really difficult for people to go out in sun in this time. Even Hyderabad hotels make sure that air conditions in their rooms are in working condition. However, the monsoon tries to bring some relief but it in turn leaves the climate humid and sultry. Monsoon season arrives in the month of June and remains till October but Hyderabad experiences irregular showers.
Winters is a period when one can plan to visit the city even though the climate is not that chill like the northern part of India but it is soothing and relaxing. The temperature in winters that starts from the month of November to February lingers between 22 deg Celsius to 14 deg Celsius. Therefore it is advisable to carry some woolen clothes while visiting the city in this time.
The climate of Hyderabad remains fairly warm through most parts of the year and does not receive much rainfall in the monsoon. With the onset of winters in North and central parts of India, temperatures marginally come down in the months of December and January and the nights become quite cool in and around the Hyderabad city. During the summer months, the mercury goes as high as 42 C while in winters the minimum temperature may come down to as low as 12 C. June to November are the months of monsoons, accompanied by rains. During the Monsoons also the temperature goes down at times. Thus, for most parts of the year the weather and climate of Hyderabad remains fairly moderate and you can visit the Hyderabad city anytime in the year but the best season to visit Hyderabad is between October-February.
Hot steppe type climate prevails over Hyderabad. Telangana district in which Hyderabad is situated is the hottest part of the State during summer and coldest in winter. The mean daily temperature varies from 30*C to 36* C from April to June and from 20*C to 24*C in the months of December and January.
The mean maximum temperature ranges between 40*C and 43*C in May. On individual days, the maximum temperature had touched 47*C in most parts of the region. After the withdrawal of the monsoon, the maximum temperature rises slightly due to increased insulation.
