The weight of the dumbbell will depend on your preference, but start with something that is a little heavy than the normal weight you can carry. Now, stand straight with feet hip width apart and start lifting both your hands towards the shoulder level. Do this for at least 15 reps and 3 sets. After this exercise, put both your hands on your shoulders with your thumb pointing at your face and then lift them above your head. Do the same number of set and repetitions.
