Finding the best flight simulator download for your needs can be a difficult and time consuming task if you'd don't know which questions to ask before you buy. Over the years I've spent more money on flying games (and simulations) than I'd like to admit.

Most people are unaware that Google Earth includes a fairly decent flight simulator download. Plus, you won't have to worry about having a super computer to run the game. The demo will work beautifully on almost any computer.
2. Will I need to buy additional hardware (controls, joystick, etc.)?
Many flight simulators will require that you have a proper controller or joystick to play the game. Your level of devotion to realistic flying should be a factor in determining if you should buy a game that needs extra hardware to use. I'm pretty serious about flying and I have purchased controllers and joysticks to make the game more realistic. This is unnecessary if you are casually interested in aflight simulator download.
3. How long am I willing to wait to get my game?
Many times I get impatient when I have to wait for Amazon or other online providers to ship me the game. What I've found is that many of the more newer games will offer you an instant download, which soothes the souls of impatient people like myself.
