Replacing A Slip-On Faucets
Cut the caulking that is holding the faucet in place using a razor blade, then use a plastic putty knife to scrape it away. Avoid using a metal blade as it could scratch the bathtub wall.
Next, remove the screw inside the access slot using an Allen wrench. Pull the faucet off the pipe. If it sticks, twist it back and forth to loosen it up or break the seal.
