8 ways to take full advantage of 24 hours without getting tired

There are only 24 hours in a day. This is what we often say when we want to find an excuse for not doing something, saying that our schedule is already quite full so we add something else to do during the day. By carefully distributing its priorities, we can do more than what is provided in our schedule. Why not do the same as with contingencies that arise during the day? Here are eight key points to take full advantage of 24 hours a day without tiring your memory.

1. On waking in the morning

The time and way to wake up in the morning depends on the time and manner with which we went to bed the night before and the quality of our night. On waking, it is often beneficial to leave a few minutes earlier, five on average. Thus, in the morning it may help you when you leave trainer in bed. Similarly, although it dragged a few minutes in the shower, in the newsagent on the corner, the bus stop going to work or school, you will always have a few extra minutes to catch up.

2. Begin task

Before you start a task you say this: "To fill a pot with stones, if you do not put the big in learn to escape the thieves of time

first, we'll never go all in ". In other words, when selecting the task by which you will start your day, trust your instincts (the one you have more inspiration), taking into account the degree of importance. What is your priority of the day? The report to be delivered before the afternoon at your head, or the letter to send to your mom tonight?

3. Respect your time

Be given more time to perform a task the more it takes. It is therefore important to always set the time allocated to a task because it makes it easier and make you concentrate.

On the other hand, it is important to know when to stop. Check your clock: a few minutes early which is alluded to in the first point can still be useful to complete the portion of work that you started (one report, a year ...).

4. Lacking inspiration for a task

Lacking inspiration for a task? Let it marinate a little (just enough time to make your memory to work on the subject), program it for another time slot and get started on another job more attractive.

Do not confuse the lack of inspiration to procrastination, the tendency to postpone until later the things you do not feel like wasting your energy and nothing to think about it.

If ever you are prone to procrastinate for a task, very well, put it in priority for your day, with the sole objective of ending once and for all. In due course, focus on it you indulging in serious, if not in the end it would be a rush job. This will free your mind from feeling heavy and latent unfinished.

5. You're feeling too much work?

Contrary to what one has always made us believe, too much work does not lead to overwork, but endless hours on the same work, whether intellectual or physical. Some people come to focus on one task for one hour while others do not move to do more than half an hour.

If you're in the latter category, leave the job incomplete although noting where you left off and start another less restrictive. This allows your brain to relax enough so you can resume later.

6. Avoid being too strict with your schedule

When really tired (not to be confused with a lack of inspiration for a task), a walk, part of the comment with others on the football game the night before, some playing with your children are good ways to keep in touch with the realities of society that avoids being confined exclusively on your work and also allows you to better relax. But beware of letting go: the length of a recess becomes infinite when we do not know when to stop.

7. You're out in the queue at the dentist at an ATM

In such situations, it is often lost in thoughts, praying that ends quickly this time we are moving from doing nothing. Instead, get busy! In such moments, the brain is receptive to learning. Why not pack a good book, a good audio recorded during the day on your iPod or mobile phone (as is increasingly the case these days)? This session of reading or listening is often best for a good review.

8. Can not get to sleep

Instead of counting sheep as they often tend to say is the best time to read this course that you put in trouble the day, with the conviction that you will eventually understand its contents. Do not force anything, just a simple reading of history to call sleep.

In doing so, you give the brain a theme on which to work for you while you are asleep. Do it and see the results the next day when you return to that course.
