There are two types of people(belief) in this world. One says that We live life according to our deeds in previous births. That is the reason some one born rich & some one poor. Other side does not believe in previous births. They are of the view that Whatevev we do here, we reap here.

We take place birth in this world due to our previous deeds, which we have done in previous births. Then question is why should work in this world, if our destiny is pre written by God?
Certain Karams(deeds) are fixed by God before our birth; we can not change that one in any case. These are
(1) Our life Spam ( How many years, days, hours, minutes we have to remain in this world). We or scientists have no control over it. Basically These are written in form of how many we will breath in this world. Yogis increase their lives by controlling, stopping or increasing their breath. But Numbers of breath remain same.
(2) All relationships are also pre written by God.
(3) How much we have to eat it is also written by God before our birth. We can eat more in early age or eat less now for future.
The above things we can not change.
Second there are certain karmas, which comes with us at the time of birth. Due to these somebody is rich or poor etc.
Everything else has been left with in our power.
We can do bad or good thing in this world as per our wisdom given to us. These deeds again sets our future path of life in this world or next world.
Now question is what is the advantage of Simran/Kirtan/Bhajan/Sewa etc.? These things clears our above mentioned second type of Karams(Deeds). These get vanished when we concentrate ourself on God. Power/Light of divinity come to us and burnt our evils deeds. This also 100% helps in every walk of life.
So Simran(reciting God)/Prayer is must for everyone to lead happy & satisfied life.
Exceptions also there. GOD can do anything at anytime. If He gets cherished at us, He can change our life instantly. It needs our firm belief in GOD!
