Tips on How to Make Egg Sandwiches

Yesterday my six-year-old son Ben asked if he could have an egg sandwich in his lunchbox - but only if it was the same as his granny's egg sandwiches. I rang her for the recipe and here it is.

The night before the sandwich is needed, hard boil one or two eggs (for about ten minutes), then use a spoon to take them out of the pan (or you will scald your fingers) and leave them in a mug or glass of water to cool. I meant the eggs, but if you did scald your fingers I recommend soaking them as well.

Use things other than bread as your end caps. For instance, core an apple, slice it hamburger style, and then put peanut butter in between two slices. Walla! You have a peanut butter sandwich. You can also use crackers, large cookies, pancakes or waffles. For fillings, you can put breakfast foods like eggs, ham, grated carrots, or you can go dessert style and put in chocolate, peanut butter, honey, agave, fruit like applies, bananas, or strawberries. The possibilities are endless!

You're going to need the usual wheat bread (or white, whatever your preference is), peanut butter, and jelly. Then on top of that, you're going to need some bananas, nutella, and some butter.

Now, take two slices of bread and what i like to do is grill them on a pan. Put some butter on one side of a piece of bread and start grilling that side. While that's going on, take your bananas and cut them fairly thin so that the sandwich won't be too thick.

Today, we live in an addiction-prone society. Of all the addictions out there, one of the most deadly is one that is most often overlooked: Junk food. We feed our kids junk food everyday without realising it. We are all guilty of doing this. It is easier to pull out a bag of crisps when a child is hungry rather than have them suffer pangs of hunger. This practice is acceptable for the rare occasions but the problem with our society is that we use this kind of junk food as a common everyday snack.

Now, you can add some additional things to the custard. These can be vanilla and a bit of sugar. Now your custard is ready. Dip both sides of each bread slice into the custard and then fry the bread on a skillet in some butter and oil, a few minutes on each side.

As for the sausages, we are going to make little octopus sausages. Take a sausage and cut an inch or so down from the end of the sausage. Next, make niches around the sausage and then pan fry them. While you're frying them, the niches that you made will get the sausage to curl and make it look like its legs.

We are going to make an egg dish called Gaeranmali. This is simply a rolled up omelet. Look up one of my other articles to figure out how to make that dish.

Prepare a bouquet of flowers for her. You can either send it beforehand to the restaurant and ask that they bring it to her as you order, or you can give it to her beforehand. Bring the entire family along as well. For celebrations like these, it's always the more the merrier.

It may seem a bit expensive, but since this day only comes around once a year, I believe it's better to make a big impact. You can always to something else as long as you make sure it becomes a memorable experience for your mother.
