Affiliate Marketing Tips : 3 Minute Guide To The Successful Sales Page

Writing sales pages that sell are key to every successful affiliate marketer. Here we cover the essential elements that any effective sales page would contain.

One of the best affiliate marketing tips that I have ever been given is about sales copywriting. I was told that in successful copy each sentence is crafted so that the reader will read the next sentence and so on. I found this an intriguing statement and so have spent a lot of time reading and researching the elements of sales copy. All that I learnt I put into practice and have achieved a lot of success. Here I'm going to share with you a guide to what every successful sales page should contain.

This is really the crux of the sale. Start the sales copy by letting the readers know that you fully understand and sympathise with the problem that they have. They are not alone, you have been there too. They will feel that they can relate to you and will keep reading.

Benefits and feature.

It is important to clearly list the features and the benefits of your product early on. Benefits are what sell a product, and some of these could well be emotions that the buyer would feel for having used your product.

White space is your friend, my friend. It will break up the copy so that it is easier to read. Remember to use bullets and lists too, in particular for your features and benefits. Use bold to highlight important words and break the text into smaller paragraphs. People most often skim over text on the internet, they don't usually read everything in the same manner that they might with a book.

Format of sales copy.

Internet buying can feel more risky than buying in the physical world. Work on elements of trust throughout your page. This will include using testimonials from satisfied and happy customers. You might also want to offer a money back - no questions asked guarantee. If your product does what it says it will, you will rarely receive a request for money back. In fact, this has to be one of the golden affiliate marketing tips that I was given by one of the gurus. It really makes a difference and is well worth implementing.

Build trust.

They are going to have some objections to your products. Perhaps they have tried plenty of other products, and none of them worked. Deal with these in your copy. Tell them why the other products didn't work and why your product does. Provide stats and facts to back up your claims.

Deal with your buyers doubts.

Tell your buyers what you want them to do. Add a call to action - 'click here to buy now'. You've got them on your page and you don't want them leaving without buying. You can track what happens when users are on your page by checking your Google Analytics reports. Is there any particular point that they are leaving you site? What can you improve on to make it easier for them to buy? Once they leave your site, it is quite possible that they will never return to it, so give them every opportunity to buy and regularly test and tweak the components of your page.

hope that you have found my affiliate marketing tips on sales pages to be useful and insightful.
