BlackBerry PlayBook - Carries Outstanding Skills And Performance

The BlackBerry mobile phones have always been the best when it comes to the business features, but it seems that BlackBerry are looking for a shift in focus after they announced the launch of the Blackberry PlayBook. No, this is not a business mobile phone, but a tablet PC. Yes, BlackBerry will be finally entered into the tablet PC segment, which has so far been known for them. In fact it has been the case for many manufacturers of mobile phones until the launch of the Apple iPad. The Blackberry PlayBook will be looking to replicate the success of the Apple iPad, but it will be following a different strategy to the Apple product.

It does not take long to realise that this will be following the Samsung strategy for defeating the Apple iPad. It will be encompassing the usage of a 7 inch touch screen display. This is about 2.7 inches smaller than the display of the Apple iPad. One will be able to see the obvious benefits of having this small screen within the tablet PC. For one, it will be massively increasing the portability aspect of the tablet PC. Secondly, it would be able to bring about the same resolution as the Apple iPad into a much smaller screen. The obvious benefits of doing so will be only felt during the playback of a full HD movie. This will be excellent in the Blackberry PlayBook due to the usage of a 7 inch display that will be having a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.

The Blackberry PlayBook will be coming with a five megapixel camera that is going to use the autofocus option as the primary weapon to deal with the Apple iPad, which does not even have a camera. The Blackberry PlayBook's camera will also be coming with the option of being able to support 1080 p full HD video recording option. This is something that might be seen only in the extreme high-end mobile phones, but to be present in a tablet PC is the most astounding part. The Blackberry PlayBook will be coming with an internal memory that could be varied by choosing the 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB options. Given that there will be no external memory card support in the Blackberry PlayBook this seems to be a good option.

The Blackberry PlayBook will also be coming with the three megapixel camera located in the rear of the tablet PC. Given that the Blackberry PlayBook will be coming with an array of connectivity options that primarily includes the 3G option, it does not surprise to know that it will be coming with a secondary camera for video conferencing purposes. The Blackberry PlayBook will be running on the QNX-based operating system that is largely similar to the BlackBerry OS 6.0, which is available for the Blackberry mobile phones. The Blackberry PlayBook is expected to cost very similar to the Apple iPad in the UK.
