Thinking About Buying Market Samurai? It's Worth It

Ever heard of Market Samurai? Thinking about purchasing it? It is a great tool for basically any internet marketer for sure. Here I have listed the features for those who are curious about it. Market Samurai features eight different sections plus one more for AdWords that is coming soon.

I personally use this a great deal when I am researching new niche markets, but I will say it may not be right for everyone. I can only recommend what I use, and you should do your research prior to buying. So with that being said, here are the features in order and a brief description of each.

Rank Tracker:

Here you can add your primary domain along with other domains and URLs that you would like to check on and find out where they are in the rankings. You can get rankings from Google, Yahoo, and Bing along with the phrase match results if you wish.

Keyword Research:

With the keyword research module, you must go to the "New Keyword" tab and input a keyword. After you have successfully set up your project, you should click "Keyword Research" where you will now have the option of changing your phrase length and adding keywords that are both positive and negative. When you are done with that, click generate keywords, and it will give you a list of keywords pulled straight from Google.

It may ask you to input some text to make sure you are human, so after you have done that it will give you a list of related terms. If you are satisfied with this, click the Keyword Analysis button at the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

Here you will find all kinds of options such as broad, phrase, and exact match as well as being able to select daily, weekly, or monthly results. There are far too many options to go over in detail here, but this is the screen where you can fine tune the results that are displayed.

SEO Competition:

This is one of my favorite aspects of Market Samurai. With this you can find valuable information about the top ten results of your keyword and check your URL against them. You can select domain age, PageRank, Google's index count of how many pages each site has, how many backlinks to specific pages as well as the domain as a whole contains, along with many more.

Domains:

With the domains module, you can input Seed Keywords along with different variables such as TLDs (this stands for top level domains like .com, .net, or .org) and find out whether a domain is available or not. Even if the domain you would like isn't available, Market Samurai will give you a list of closely related domains that are available, and it will tell you the keyword density of each option.

Monetization:

Here you can find products to promote through either Amazon, ClickBank, or Commission Junction. You can search for products without being an affiliate, but I would highly recommend signing up with these companies so you can start promoting products. If you don't know much about these companies, you should head over and check them out.

Find Content:

This section gives you the option of selecting a variety of different sources that Market Samurai will pull information from. The main options are Articles, Blogs, Pictures/Videos, and News/Misc. Each of these has additional options to choose from. If you are suffering from lack of inspiration or are having a difficult time coming up with fresh new ways of finding topics to write about, try looking here.

Publish Content:

Here you can link up to your WordPress Blog or WordPress Direct Blog and publish content directly to it from here. You can create a new document, do a document search, and manage your accounts.

Promotion:

This is a really good portion of Market Samurai. This allows you to search out some Web 2.0 sites along with Yahoo Answers, Google and Wordpress blogs, plus some nifty forums so you can find backlinks for your site.

Many people like to use forum commenting and Yahoo Answers to get backlinks as well as a jump in traffic to their website. After analyzing your keyword and selecting where you wish to find backlinks from, it will show you whether the site has follow or no-follow links, if it supports pingbacks, the PageRank, and the total number of links pointing to a specific URL.

AdWords:

This is the final module, but unfortunately it isn't available at this time. In time this feature will be added and it will be interesting to see what they bring to the table with this.

Keep in mind that if you download the trial version, you can get Market Samurai at a special discounted price, but only if you download the free trial. After that expires, it will go back up to the normal price. I personally recommend trying it out. If you find that it just isn't what you are looking for, at least you won't have lost anything.
