LG Optimus Black Accommodates a Lot of Features in a Slim Body

The LG Optimus Black is the phone that will be continuing the dual core processor era that recently started with the launch of the LG Optimus 2X. Even though the LG Optimus 2X brought the dual core processor, it did not bring with it other associative features that will be making use of this powerful processor. Hence, there has been the need of the LG Optimus Black, which will be a phone that not only looks great, but also will be coming with a number of features. The thinness is really the main strong point of the LG Optimus Black before the start of the phone. It is much thinner than the Apple iPhone 4, which currently is retaining the title of the thinnest phone in the world.

The LG Optimus Black will be able to accommodate all the features within a body that measures 9.2 mm in thickness. Even though this is just a 0.1 mm improvement over the Apple iPhone 4, it is hugely significant in the context of the two giants. Also, the LG Optimus Black will be including a 4 inch display, whereas the Apple iPhone 4 will be using the 3.5 inch unit only. It has been doing so since the original iPhone in 2007 and this is the main area where else is targeting to take over the market from the Apple iPhone. The Apple iPhone will be using the retina display technology, which is far superior than any other technology that is currently available. However, it is only before the launch of the LG Optimus Black, which will be coming with the NOVA display technology.

Apart from increasing the ability of the touch screen display to increase the colour reproduction and brightness levels, the NOVA display technology will also be taking the efficiency aspect of the touch screen display into this phone. Due to this aspect, the LG Optimus Black is known to provide excellent talk times and standby times, despite the fact that it will be using the 1500 mAh battery, which has been seen in many high end smartphones. The battery will be powering the five megapixel camera in the LG Optimus Black. This camera is going to be highly efficient at taking great quality images, while it is going to be highly powerful while taking the videos. This is due to the presence of the 720 p video recording facility in the camera. Even though the camera might be lacking in terms of the 1080 p video recording facility, it seems to have more than made up for the loss of this technology by incorporating the 720 p option.

The LG Optimus Black will be using the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. It is one of the first phones in the market today to be using this latest version of Android, which has a number of new improvements over the previous Froyo version. The LG Optimus Black will be available for around 25 per month in the T-Mobile contract.
