Age old questions of why some are healed and others are not are addressed methodically through scriptures and God the "Ultimate Healer." Be Healed! attests to the widespread manifestations of suffering, sickness, disease, pain, affliction and more. In a very conventional and insightful approach to healing as a ministry, Enyia first consults the Merriam Webster Dictionary which defined the verb, "to heal" as "to make sound or whole" and "to restore to health." Thusly defined, we can conclude therefore, that healing essentially takes place in two ways, through faith in God and by medicinal remedies.
Dr. Enyia's personal challenges and triumphs over sickness serve as examples of how God, the Ultimate Healer, intervened in his life. Through faith in God, Dr. Enyia overcame Hepatitis A and prostrate cancer. One particular scripture that transformed Enyia's attitude and faith in God during his sickness reads, "Though the fig tree does not bud, and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crops fail and the fields produce no food; though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior." (Habakkuk 3:17-18).
This scripture is distinct and profound. Though divine healing is a controversial subject - and has been since the Pharisees challenged Jesus' authority to heal, there have been countless healing miracles that defy medical explanation. If we accept that a miracle is an occurrence beyond the power of any known physical law or natural explanation, then we must conclude that these divine healings represent supernatural occurrences performed by God's power alone.
