Ian Poulter has discovered he is allergic to grass - something he can't afford to avoid so long as he continues to play golf for a living.
It's as bad as a swimmer finding himself allergic to water, a boxer to leather, a skier to snow and a whole host of other Titleist 910D3 driver , including, footballers and rugby players, to the same stuff as Poulter is.
The colourful Englishman discovered recently after being analyzed that of the 64 different allergies for which he was tested there was only one strain of grass that did not affect him.
In one of his most recent Tweets, one of international sports leading tweeters said: "Just being seen. 64 different allergies I'm being tested for. Will be interesting to see. My back is itching like crazy already.
Later he added: 'So funny I'm allergic to every type of grass apart from 1 quality effort. And All trees apart from 3. Chuffed to pieces'.
